GUIDED WINE BLENDING CLASSES

This is a 1.5 hour guided tasting where you explore and learn about 3 single varietal wines, before becoming a mad wine scientist to experiment with blending to make your own wine blend to go. This class is intended for those curious about wine that want to be guided though the process and want to experiment A LOT!

Main differences between guided class and OPEN LAB are that class is 100% guided by one of our expert instructors and Open Lab is blending without instructor guidance with introduction and light touch help from one of our team members. You also get MORE WINE in the guided class to play and experiment with.

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY/Walk-ins welcome if class is not sold out. E-mail in advance to inquire.

Class Times:

• Friday @ 6PM,

• Saturday @ noon and 4PM

Only classes with open spots will appear in our booking widget. Classes are default to red wines. If you would like to blend with white wines you must select that option at booking. The ticket price is listed for one person. Each person gets to enjoy/taste wine throughout the experience and leaves with a bottle of their own blend.

Please arrive 10 minutes before class. Classes always start on time to respect everyone's time. Any guests who will arrive more than 15 minutes late will not be allowed to enter the active class and will be required to re-book ($25 rebooking fee per person applies). Delayed entries are very disruptive to the other guests, so please plan your visit accordingly.

Booking for a larger party: If you are booking for a larger party, please make sure you add all the spots to cart so that we know to sit you together. We may not be able to combine tables the day of the class or accommodate groups sitting together if we do not know in advance that a group is arriving together. One person in the party should be booking all spots if you are attending in a group. Contact us for private party options for 10 or more kits.

Please make sure to check and secure your schedule before booking. The classes are a final sale/no refunds and additional charges will apply for any date reschedules ($25 per ticket). Email us at info@thewineblendinglab.com for reschedule options or any questions about the classes. No shows will have to purchase a new ticket. Please plan your visit accordingly. You’ve been to a class and want to blend more? Not a class person, but you want to blend your own wine, and a specific wine? YOU ARE IN LUCK! OPEN LAB is for you!

OPEN LAB is NOT A CLASS.

• Will it have light guidance? YES! Our team will introduce the Open Lab wine blending and provide you with steps to follow, but there is no guided instruction or instructor that will guide you though the experience. This is a self-blend option intended for previous class takers or someone who feels comfortable with their wine knowledge to blend on their own. If you prefer or require detailed guidence, please book a guided class.

• Will you make your own wine? YES!

• Will there be a wine focus? YES!

• Do we get the same amount of wine as the class? NO, the class price point is higher because you do get to play with more wine and you do get 2 hours guidance from one of our expert instructors. You will not have an instructor for Open Lab.

Price includes wine for tasting/blending and one 375ml bottle of your own blend to go. Extra bottles can be made for $30 per bottle.
